Dang that JetBlue
Seconds before leaving for the airport we get a phone call that our flight has been cancelled. Apparently JetBlue can't fly in rain. It did snow in parts but not where we were flying. Thankfully all the hotels, car rental, and Amtrak gave us refunds. Unfortunately this wasn't just a vacation, we needed to find a place to live. We will just have to reschedule for a much shorter trip back to find a place. This time we will go in May so that we can avoid the thunder storms.....and we definitely won't be flying JetBlue (I like getting to my destination too much).
Because of my anger and need to get away for a few days, we went to Vegas. Viva Las Vegas!!! It was wonderful. The hotel was amazing, the weather was superb, and the company was fantastic (Greg and Teä). Even though we had babysitters lined up I couldn't emotionally take leaving Teä again so she came along. She was fantastic. She loved all the lights in the casino's (which isn't such a good thing). We went to the Hoover Dam and she had a blast. It was a wonderfully relaxing trip that was much needed.

Darn airlines....aren't they so frustrating! But I'm glad you guys had so much fun in Vegas! What a great little getaway! So did you do the Dam Tour, buy souveniers at the Dam Store, and listen to all the Dam Jokes?!
