Teä's new doctor

We were lucky enough to meet a lady at my work who has a little boy and she gave us her doctors number. So, today Teä went in for her 15 month appointment. I'm kind of bummed because her last doctor gave her age appropriate books at each appointment but this doctor didn't. Greg's response to this disappointment was "well they have books at the Office to play with". Nice try, but it doesn't help since we can't take those books home with us. Oh well, it's not that big of a deal. She is 29 pounds and 34 inches. I have no clue what the percentages are but I do know that she is as tall or taller then 2 -3 year olds at church. So, basically, she's still a big kid. The doctor asked if she was having any behavioral issues, huh, um yeah, she doesn't understand, no, don't touch that, come here, put that down, get your hand out of the toilet, stop licking daddy's shoe, stop taking off your diaper, don't touch your dirty diaper, don't put your finger in your nose and don't throw food on the floor. Other than that, no behavioral issues at all! The doc was reassuring and informed us that this is all very normal and she is just in a very stubborn/independent stage which is good for them and it is important that we are consistent. She says it stops but if you ask my Mom I'll bet she says it never ends! As for now, Teä still runs the house.

Sounds like she's doing just great! I love how you described the "behavioral issues." Kallie hasn't grown out of those yet...although they have improved slightly. So--you have at least another year to go.
