Big day in the Atkinson home

Greg woke up this morning and decided today was the day that Teä would move into a toddler bed. Her crib is the convertible kind so he removed the front of it and it took .2 seconds for Teä to realize the freedom we had just given her. She was so excited to have a big girl bed. She played on her bed for about an hour, going up and down. We went and bought a guard rail thing and tried it out for nap time. However, it didn't go so well. We chose to only do a partial rail and that allowed her to go up and down still so she didn't sleep. But tonight we changed it to a full rail so she can't get off very easily and she went right to sleep. I hope it stays like that because she is so happy to be a big girl now.

This is tonight right before bed.

Way to go! I hope it continues to go smoothly for you. We didn't move Kallie until she was 2 and even then, I had to kick in some Supernanny techniques to FINALLY get her to stay in her bed. (BTW--if you get to the point where you want them, let me know and I'll share!) :)
