It's a good thing you noticed her before you did some laundry! She's so funny.
My cat Mandy who is black does this and I forget she is there since I cannot see her when the lights are off, and shut the door to the laundry room. Then later I hear her meowing and see her paw reaching under the door. Cats can be so funny!
