If the Republican Party ….

  • Supports amnesty;
  • Supports a $.50 tax increase on gasoline to support Al Gore’s Global Warming initiative;
  • Supports the closure of Guantanamo, bringing terrorists onto our land, and risking terrorists getting caught up in our legal system;
  • Supports a leader who is backed by Lieberman, the biggest flip-flopper of them all;
  • Is against tax cuts;
  • Supports open boarders;
  • Opposes the proven interrogation method of water boarding on terrorists;
  • Turns the first amendment into nothing more than toilet paper through the fairness doctrine;
  • Supports and rewards the use of immoral campaign tactics for candidates who ride the moral high ground through bogus campaign finance reform;
  • Is accepting of anti-business views and has pro-government views;

and all this is now the norm for the Party, then I guess it’s time for me to find a new party. This is one conservative who won’t be voting in that national election if McCain gets the nomination because it’s better to give up the next four years than give up your party forever.

Ditto Ditto Ditto...only I'll be voting for Hillary (devil) because I'd rather her ruin the country for 4 years than have this new fangled Republican party ruin it!

Ryan and I were talking about this last night. He told me that even Glenn Beck is considering voting for Hillary if McCain gets nominated. It was something I hadn't considered, but am now seriously thinking about for the same reasons Emily stated.

I have to agree with you two. I'd be more likely to vote a democrat because at least they acknowledge the fact that they belong to that party. It would be VERY difficult to do but I wouldn't mind seeing the inevitable failure of the dems for the next four years and then have Romney take it by force next election.

Yes! This is exactly how I feel, I actually told Ryan long before I heard Ann Coulter and all these other people saying it, that I will vote for Hillary before I vote for McCain, which he thinks is crazy and doesn't understand, but you've explained it perfectly! At least I know I"m not the only one!
grrr.... i just hate McCain, won't do it! No I won't!

Good job! I was considering writing in "Mickey Mouse" BUT I have more respect for him than McCain or Hillary! Maybe it would be good to allow Hillary the opportunity to repay Bill by having girls in the oval office too? (Did I say that outloud?) I will not vote for McCain so I'm thinking I just won't vote for president so I can say, "I didn't vote for either jerk!" If Obama wins the nomination I will vote for him over McCain for sure...but to vote for Hillary I think someone will have to stand behind me with a gun.

I couldn't agree more Mom. Mickey Mouse can have my vote too!

Ha Ha Jess...that's your mom, I LOVE her! You know the joke...Hillary never minded that Bill was sleeping with other women cause she was sleeping with the same ones too!

Now Mickey Mouse is someone I could DEFINITELY get on board with :)

Yep, that's my Mom, she gets her humor from me.... Love you MOM!!

I've never heard that joke before, it's oh so fitting though.

Good to see this. Seth and I feel the exact same way. We won't vote for Hillary but we just won't vote at all. I can't bring myself to vote for McCain and I think that after this, the republicans deserve to have a democrat in office to remind them of what their party actually stands for. I think four years of suffering through a Hillary reign would do a lot to snap the republican party out of this stupor they've seemed to have fallen into. But, boy oh boy, four years of Hillary OR McCain? That's enough to make anyone want to leave the country. Seriously, with either of those two in office it makes me think, "Canada/United States? What's the difference?"

Amen! I'm so worried.
