Food storage
I decided to listen to the prophet for once (ha ha ha) and build up my food storage. I have been working on it for a few months now and tonight was the icing on the cake. We went to Price CHOPPPPer (as we say to Tea) tonight because of some deals I found in the paper. Everything purchased tonight was for food storage and I found some freaking good deals. They had frozen veggies, 10 for $10, Frieherhoffers (sp?) bread, our favorite, half off so I bought three and put them in the freezer. Aussie shampoo and conditioner 1/2 price, so $1.99. Soft soap buy one get two free. Cheese 1/2 price, toothbrushes and toothpaste 1/2 price and the best deal of all, CFL light bulbs normally $13.99 for $4.99, yup you read that right. This info of course is only good for people who live in NY but as you can tell I'm proud. So all in all, our bill came to $202, and with the advantage discount it was .....drum roll please..........$130!!!!!!! How amazing is that???? Even the cashier was impressed. So, I continue my quest to building up my food storage. Let me know if you find good deals :)

That is so awesome! I wish I was that good at shopping! I stress and stress about food storage and get so overwhelmed with the whole thing that I don't really do anything about it. But I do have a goal to start! I'm gonna look for great deals from now on and try harder.
Oops I was signed in as you:) I totally forgot! So that last comment was really mine.
way to go Anna! j/k. I used to stress about it too because I thought it would take forever and be so expensive. But, a friend told me that they just buy what they normally buy and would eat and stock up on it. So from then on I just buy a couple extra of everything we normally buy and stock up. It hasn't added really anything to our normal bill and it stocks up fast.
I try to just buy a little extra each week as well, but way to go on taking advantage of such a good deal.
And I love the new floor. We tore out our kitchen floor a few months ago and it really does make a difference.

Could you come home and take some of my access food storage, and have Greg replace my bathroom floors. They are small it won't take him long. You know we would have had to send you off to the big house if something had happened to Tea!
Wow, good job! I try to keep/build up some food storage but I could definitely use some improvement!
Very nice! I love finding and getting good deals! I'm glad Tea was okay with the whole pool incident! How scary! It's amazing how fast our lives could change, and it makes you grateful to know there is more to life than this one! Your bathroom floor looks great!
I'm actually not leaving a comment about food storage. I just wanted to say I'm diggin' the Stevie Nicks songs you've got on there now. Rock on.
how are things going? have you heard from sara lately?
