Maine

We went to our favorite state, Maine, last weekend. We all just love it there so much. It has to be the prettiest state that I've seen. Tea had a blast at the beach, she definitely takes after me there. She is so calm and relaxed when at the beach. She loved looking for sea shells and found some huge ones. In this picture she kept standing near the water as the wave went out and would run as soon as it started coming back in.

P.S. with any of my pictures on here, just click on them and it will make it bigger for you.

Isn't this pose hysterical? I don't know where she came up with it, but she does it a lot.

While in Maine we decided to go to downtown Portland. We happened to park next to a children's museum and decided to go in. It was dated but really cool. As you can see Tea loved it. They had a shuttle model that kids can go in and play fly.
Outside they had a huge pirate ship which Tea loved once the annoying, loud boys left.
There was this news room where you videotape your news report and then you can play it back and watch it. There were a couple older girls in there, (maybe 12 years old), and Tea went in there and thought she was their friend. She acted so grown up and kept laughing when they laughed and copying them. They weren't too into her, but they were nice to her at least. I fell in love with this picture because she looks so grown up. My baby is no longer a baby.

We wanted to go to Salem, Mass., but parking sucked so we left and went to Concord so I could go see Louisa May Alcott's house. Ahhh, I love Little Women.
Here are a couple more pics from Maine.

Here is the lucky lobster that got picked to be our dinner. It freaked Tea out a bit and of course Greg being the Atkinson that he is, took the head off and scared Tea with it. Lovely.

I love the pictures. I can see why you loved Maine. Tea is just growing up too fast. She is so much like you I can't believe it!

Looks like such a great time! I would have LOVED to see Louisa May Alcott's home. Little Women is one of my favorite books--and I recently read a biography on LMA. What a fun trip!

That looks like so much fun! I love the first picture of Tea with her glasses on and the picture of her with her hands on her hips...how adorable. She looks so grown-up it's sad. She also looks like she is getting taller and thinning out:( It's so sad when they lose their baby rolls! The museum looked like so much fun, I want to go play there!

Tea's getting so big. She looks so grown up, I hate that. Can't they stay little and chubby forever?
