I am so smart....SMRT!!!
That's the saying I hear in my head whenever Pelosi or Obama speaks (well several more but just them for this discussion).
Nancy Pelosi almost had me convinced this stimulus package was a good idea when she said 500 million jobs would be LOST if it did not pass. Hmmm, dang, at first glance, that's horrible, of course I don't want that many jobs to be lost....oh wait, silly Nancy, she's trying to trick me. But I'm smarter than that. Unless of course EVERY American will lose their job and it will then trickle over to surrounding countries. Now everything that she says will hold credit in my book.....NOT. (that's right a throw back to the 90's)
And then there's Obama. So far so good buddy (insert rolling eyes here), nice choices on your cabinet. When asked, essentially, from a citizen in the audience in Indiana yesterday why we should trust his judgment when so many of his picks for cabinet members have committed some sort of crime. His answer, essentially, was that he wouldn't be able to pick anyone if he had to pick someone that hadn't made a "mistake". Oh, so that's what we're calling tax evasion these days...oopsies. I wonder how the government will respond if I make a mistake on my taxes. Oops, sorry guys, I forgot to pay my taxes last year, my bad.
Ok, so maybe this logic would fly if it weren't for these people who forgot to pay $130,000+ in taxes, being appointed to financial positions, or the position to monitor the government and make sure they are being honest.....hmmm, a little fishy.
I found this really great article you can check out.

Granted it's an opinion, so take that into consideration, but the bulk of it was good I thought.
Stepping off soapbox now.

You should totally go on The View! You would be so good! You could stand up to stupid Joy. That is all I have to say!
Steve Martin used to have a bit "How to have a million dollars and never pay taxes." He would say, in essence, "First, get a million dollars. Next, don't pay your taxes and when the IRS asks you about it, tell them you forgot." It was funny because it was so absurd. Which pretty much describes Obama's cabinet.
Amen. That's all I got. Amen.
I knew I loved you. I honestly feel like everyone has lost every ounce of common sense these days - except a few of the smrt ones! I just can't figure out why Obama's awful choices haven't been publicly aired and criticized. Oh wait, he's the next savior of the world...
Ha!! I love to hear you talk politics. When are you running for office? My huge frustration is I don't feel like there's anything I can do about what is happening.
Very good stuff. I love your political posts. They always make me smile and they validate what I'm already thinking. Awesome!
Jessica, as your mother I must tell you...RUN FOR OFFICE! Do you see why arguing with you when you were a kid was totally useless!!!
