Our big adventure

I just thought I would post about our trip here. My luck with traveling lately is very crappy. We arrived at the airport at 9:30 p.m. only to find out that it is RAINING, that's right RAINING, in Newark and the plane that was supposed to take us to Newark is still there. BUMMER. So we get booked on the next flight, 4:00 a.m. We go home, sleep for a couple hours and then head back. I must've done something right because Teä fell asleep the minute we got on the plane, didn't flinch once during take off and slept for 2 1/2 hours. Once she did wake up she was singing, playing, eating, drinking and reading. When landing I could tell her ears were bugging her but she didn't scream once, instead she sipped on her bottle and kept playing. It was wonderful, well at least that part was. Previous to leaving, we found out that all the morning flights in Newark were cancelled and our flight would be leaving at 5 p.m. A whole 7 hours in the Newark airport and we only live 2 hours away. No thank you. Greg came and picked us up so we didn't have to sit in that hole. We arrived home 3 hours before our flight did......SO worth it. So, we are home, happy, healthy, tired but alive.
