Vermont
We went to Vermont today. To be a little more exact we went to Bennington, home of a battlefield from the Revolutionary War and a monument dedicated to that battle. It is a thirteen-story building that thankfully had an elevator and it looks out towards Massachusetts, New York and Vermont. Then we went to Manchester, home to lots of outlets. It is cool though because the outlets are throughout the town in different old homes that have been converted to stores. Then we went to Sharon, birthplace of Joseph Smith. The Church owns close to 400 acres there and it is beautiful.
Here's pics from the monument in Bennington. It's amazing because in one of the pics you can see the steeple of an old church and across from that church is a house that used to be an inn that Thomas Jefferson and others would go hang out at, it is now a private residence. How amazing is that?!!
This is the original hearthstone from the house that Joseph Smith was born in. Very cool because he would've been the same age as TeƤ playing on this very hearthstone.
