Maine
Maine, as you can see, is by far the prettiest place EVER. There's something about it that I just fell in love with. I have always been more of an island, hot, beach person but Maine made me rethink that. The water was freezing and how the locals can come straight from the street and jump in the water is beyond me because I swear a couple degrees colder and the ocean would've been frozen, but the views make up for it as did the fantastic beach. Plus, the lighthouses, the seafood, the cliffs, the waves, the sky, the culture and the surroundings make it one of the best, if not the best, place I've ever been. I would love to have a beach house their one day. As you can see, Teä loved it to. We were at the beach for almost 3 hours and we could've stayed longer if we didn't have to meet up with our friends.
We were lucky enough to stay with a couple in our Ward here, parent's house in Cape Elizabeth. Their house was unbelievable and so were they. They were so sweet to us and their little 11 year old boy fell in love with Teä and she with him. He was so cute. After playing with Teä for a bit and having fun he looks at her and says, "she is going to be such a beautiful redhead when she grows up". How sweet is that? I hope Teä marries someone as sweet as him.
This family lived half a mile, up a dirt road, from the ocean and their front window a straight shot view to the Ocean. If you ever get a chance to go to Maine, do. And while you are there go to the Lobster Shack, Headlight lighthouse, and Crescent Beach.
