Saratoga

We live about 10 minutes south of Saratoga which was the most pivitol battle in the American Revolution. It was one of the first major victories for the continental army and this victory convinced France to come to our aid.

The monument is to the leg wound that Benedict Arnold recieved in this battle and is the only monument in the country that does not bear the name of it's honoree.

(Can you tell these are Greg's words, not mine? He is the expert when it comes to history facts.)
