Well that just sucks....
Hold on to your wallets folks, it's gonna be a bumpy (expensive) ride. I wasn't excited about either candidate and for the first time in my life (voting life that is) I felt that I would have to vote for the lesser of two evils (so depressing)! My only hope now is that Republicans take back Congress....which is bound to happen when people start seeing their paychecks dwindle all so "others" can "survive". Who needs a paycheck anyway!?! And don't even get me started on socialized medicine, that's a disaster waiting to happen. Have fun waiting 4 months to have your chemo started. Don't believe me, how fast is that line at the DMV? How easy is it to fire someone who works in government even though they don't do anything or do it all wrong, harassed others, watched porn at work (I have first hand experience with all of these)? Remember all those horrible news reports the biased media was airing about military hospitals? Welcome to your new clinic. My family knows first hand how great military hospitals are. My mother, when she had me, was required to make her own bed, come get me if she wanted to see me, change her sheets! Have fun doing that next time you're in the hospital. As if we aren't infiltrated with lazy, I-deserve-everything-because-I'm-me kind of people, you aint seen nothing yet. Am I being a cry baby? Of course, but now I just fit in with Obama's crowd!
One good thing about this election, it's OVER!!!!

I'm glad it's over too. I am now just terrified for the future. I don't think I understand what is really about to happen to the country. The feeling I get though is not a good one. I guess this just means that we are getting to the second coming, and boy oh boy I cannot wait for that. I hate fearing the future. What are my kids going to have to deal with? I HATE THIS!!!!! I just don't understand why more people couldn't see through him. I think probably most of them were voting because he is black or because he is a democrat. I hope they are pleased with their decision when our country starts to go to POT! Our bishop and relief society president both voted for him. What are they thinking?? All I can say is when things start getting crappy I am personally going to call them and thank them for voting for him. I hope they all regret it.
I agree, it's over!!!!!!!!!!! This just sucks more than anything. Hope people are happy when this country starts to get worse. Maybe Bush won't look so bad in about a year.
I couldn't agree with you more! I'm so depressed but so glad it's over. In my depression last night I tried to find a few "bright sides" to all of this. 1)there is no way in heck that Obama will be elected to 2 terms. 2) all the Obama supporters are going to have to eat crow BIG TIME in about 2 years at least. Those were the only bright spots I could come up with though!
I was SO disappointed when I saw the results. I was telling Ryan that we've finally made it to a place where we are making a real salary, (with only student loan debt acquired along the way), and now it's all going to be taken away from us. It sucks!
Last week, I was talking with some girls in my ward about the medical and social conditions in post-Communist countries where I served my mission. When I told them how things really are over there, they were completely shocked. HELLO. Maybe we should have used the money from the bailout plan to send all the whiners to live in Russia for a few years to witness first-hand the effects of socialized medicine and "sharing the wealth." Seriously--the western world has been successful because of the ability people have to work, make choices, and get ahead.
I'm interested to see which side of his mouth Obama decides to lead from now. Since he didn't offer a solid answer on anything during the campaign, I wonder what's actually going to happen once he takes the Presidency?
Well said Jessica
